Things I Read
I am still reading The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro. A fiction story about a man reminiscing about his life and work as a butler during the turbulent times surrounding World War 2. Fascinating.
Things I Listened To
Since I am at a retreat for pastors, I have been listening to a variety of lectures on various topics. One talk was called "The Pastor and AI" and had four points: (1) AI is not the antichrist. (2) AI is a boon to efficiency. (3) AI is dangerous. (4) AI may be the antichrist. Short, humorous, informative talk. We need to get ahead of this. Make sure you come to the Wisdom for Life Seminar where I'll be addressing technology.
Things I Watched
I watched a few minutes of a recap of the Lakers getting smashed by the Thunder. Sad.
Things I Thought
Since I'm away with a bunch of pastors, I am thinking of how our church can continue to partner with other likeminded churches in our region so as to strengthen and refresh one another.
