Several months ago we got a 20 year old tortoise (probably around 100lbs) and two red eared slider turtles (barely bigger than a quarter when we got them). Then last week we got a puppy. I have found myself thinking, "God, you didn't have to make these creatures, but I'm glad you did." The animal kingdom is pretty awesome. Psalm 8.
